Wisdom & Folly - Webcomic Banner

To know wisdom and instruction, to understand words of insight, to receive instruction in wise dealing, in righteousness, justice, and equity; to give prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the youth…” (Proverbs 1:2-4, ESV)

Proverbs uses a creative literary device to help communicate the abstract concepts of wisdom and folly. It personifies these qualities by describing them as two women. Both call out to men to come and follow in their ways—one, in the way that leads to life; the other, in the way that leads to death.

“Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!” (Proverbs 9:4a & 9:16a)

This webcomic uses these allegorical women to help communicate the wise sayings in the Book of Proverbs in a creative, fun, and visual way. This webcomic is a predominantly single-panel, non-serial, comic presentation.

“…Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance,  to understand a proverb and a saying, the words of the wise and their riddles.” (Proverbs 1:5-6, ESV)
